How do I join the Sub10 Club and have my swims tallied?

Modified on Wed, 28 Feb at 5:42 PM

The NOWCA Sub10 Club runs from 1 November to 31 March each year.

Joining the Sub10 Club is free and welcomes all swim abilities and experience, but you must have a current NOWCA membership for your swims to be included on the Sub10 Scoreboard and swim at a participating venue.

In fact, the first time you swim in water below 10°C at ANY participating venue, you will automatically be enrolled to the Sub10 Club and your swim will be added to the monthly scoreboard.

CHECK SCOREBOARD

So simply book your sessions as usual and if the water temperature is sub10, we will add your swim to the scoreboard.

The Sub10 Scoreboard is updated at the end of each month. In order for your swim to be included on the scoreboard you must:

  • Pre-book your swim on the ACTiO app (except St Andrews Lakes, Manley Mere, and Bicester Outdoor Swimming) – swims can still be booked even if a session has started.
  • If you do not have a confirmed booking on the app before you start your swim, it will not qualify and will not be included on the scoreboard.
  • Before you enter the water, make sure you tap-in using your NOWCA wristband. This will activate your Sub10 swim. Remember to tap-out before leaving the venue.

Swims at ALL PARTICIPATING VENUES will be counted as long as you have followed the booking process above.

The 'home' venue listed on the scoreboard is where you registered your NOWCA account, unless you have requested this to be changed.

* If you believe your Sub10 tally is incorrect, please contact us by submitting a support ticket.

* The scoreboard is updated monthly.  Please allow 5 days after the previous month for your updated swim count to appear on the scoreboard.
